The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 2012. Our motto is “Serving the Children of the World.”
We are a Kiwanis 3-2-1 Club. We are non-traditional in that we do not meet weekly. We are a group who are busy with work and family, but we still have a strong desire to serve our community. A 3-2-1 Kiwanis Club emphasizes SERVICE above all. Here’s how it guides us:
3 = hours of service each month
2 = hours of social activity each month
1 = hour of regular meetings per month
We are like family. We enjoy doing projects that benefit the kids and the community we live in. We invite you to consider joining us in one of our many service projects or community events. After you see first-hand the impact we make on the kids and their families who come to our events, you will want to ask: “What can we do next?”
🌟 Have you ever wondered what Kiwanis does? ✨Do you have an interest in helping children? ⭐️Do you enjoy volunteering with like-minded people?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, please consider joining us for our OEPN HOUSE! We'll explain who we are, what we do, and how YOU can join us! RSVP not required, however appreciated. See below for details 👇 ... See MoreSee Less
PA One Book is a statewide initiative encouraging families, libraries, early learning programs, and community partners to come together around a shared reading experience. The PA Department of Education’s Office of Commonwealth Libraries (OCL) announced The Great Cookie Kerfuffle as this year's selection!
In collaboration with Lycoming County United Way and Early Learning Resource Center in Williamsport, we were rewarded with over 400 books to deliver to and read to Clinton County daycares. Looks like Linda and Penny had a fun time! 🍪 #KidsNeedKiwanis... See MoreSee Less
