The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 2012. Our motto is “Serving the Children of the World.”
We are a Kiwanis 3-2-1 Club. We are non-traditional in that we do not meet weekly. We are a group who are busy with work and family, but we still have a strong desire to serve our community. A 3-2-1 Kiwanis Club emphasizes SERVICE above all. Here’s how it guides us:
3 = hours of service each month
2 = hours of social activity each month
1 = hour of regular meetings per month
We are like family. We enjoy doing projects that benefit the kids and the community we live in. We invite you to consider joining us in one of our many service projects or community events. After you see first-hand the impact we make on the kids and their families who come to our events, you will want to ask: “What can we do next?”
During our festivities last night, we welcomed Holly Eisaman, our newest member! Holly works at the Ross Library and has been a guest at our Kids Day and other events for several years. We are so happy to have you as part of our Kiwanis Family, Miss Holly! ... See MoreSee Less
We celebrated last night! Our new year starts on October have much to be thankful for. We were pleased to have Lt. Governor Lisa Bangson, Governor-designate Conrad Schlesinger, and retiring Executive Director Kevin Thomas with us last night.
During the festivities, we celebrated member milestones as well as the awards that our club received at the recent Pennsylvania Kiwanis District Convention. Lt. Governor Lisa inducted a new member and installed our incoming officers, too! ... See MoreSee Less
