The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 2012. Our motto is “Serving the Children of the World.”
We are a Kiwanis 3-2-1 Club. We are non-traditional in that we do not meet weekly. We are a group who are busy with work and family, but we still have a strong desire to serve our community. A 3-2-1 Kiwanis Club emphasizes SERVICE above all. Here’s how it guides us:
3 = hours of service each month
2 = hours of social activity each month
1 = hour of regular meetings per month
We are like family. We enjoy doing projects that benefit the kids and the community we live in. We invite you to consider joining us in one of our many service projects or community events. After you see first-hand the impact we make on the kids and their families who come to our events, you will want to ask: “What can we do next?”
Our club will be joining the Clinton County PA Sheriff's Office for the annual Clinton County Night Out on Saturday, August 20th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. The public will have an opportunity to interact with law enforcement and emergency services personnel during this time.
We are pleased to share that we will be hosting a Bike Rodeo during the event - complete with a skills course, helmet give-away, helmet fitting, and more! Kids are encouraged to bring their own bike for the skills course (we won't have extras) as well as your own helmet if you have one so our safety experts can make sure it fits safely! ...
