The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 2012. Our motto is “Serving the Children of the World.”
We are a Kiwanis 3-2-1 Club. We are non-traditional in that we do not meet weekly. We are a group who are busy with work and family, but we still have a strong desire to serve our community. A 3-2-1 Kiwanis Club emphasizes SERVICE above all. Here’s how it guides us:
3 = hours of service each month
2 = hours of social activity each month
1 = hour of regular meetings per month
We are like family. We enjoy doing projects that benefit the kids and the community we live in. We invite you to consider joining us in one of our many service projects or community events. After you see first-hand the impact we make on the kids and their families who come to our events, you will want to ask: “What can we do next?”
Tonight our members finished assembling bags for the Clinton County Housing Authority as part of our Backpacks For Kids project. This is an ongoing project that provides needed and useful items to several agencies in Clinton County. Club Preside t Della Watson is the coordinator of the project. Accepting them on behalf of CCHA is Tia Hillyer. For more information, or to find out how to donate, please visit www.kiwanisofbenv.org. ... See MoreSee Less
