The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 2012. Our motto is “Serving the Children of the World.”
We are a Kiwanis 3-2-1 Club. We are non-traditional in that we do not meet weekly. We are a group who are busy with work and family, but we still have a strong desire to serve our community. A 3-2-1 Kiwanis Club emphasizes SERVICE above all. Here’s how it guides us:
3 = hours of service each month
2 = hours of social activity each month
1 = hour of regular meetings per month
We are like family. We enjoy doing projects that benefit the kids and the community we live in. We invite you to consider joining us in one of our many service projects or community events. After you see first-hand the impact we make on the kids and their families who come to our events, you will want to ask: “What can we do next?”
Kiwanis members Linda Walker, Dana Suter, Penny Meyers and Susie Peters recently spent some quality time with the kiddos at the Infant Development Program in Lock Haven. 💚 They crafted a variety of Valentine-themed items for the kids to take home for parents. 📘Books were read and songs were sung. This is what Kiwanis is all about! #KidsNeedKiwanis
Held at the John Yost Community Center on February 18th, our monthly member meeting was both FUN and PRODUCTIVE! Not only did we induct two new members AND play KIWANIS FEUD, we ALSO packed 35 Jared Boxes to be donated to the Geisinger Hospital Jersey Shore. #KidsNeedKiwanis ❤
